The December pasado14 was made in the Buenavista Palace, home of the Army Headquarters in Madrid, the 2011 schedule with the Department of Communication Army has image commemorating the 300 years of Weapon of Engineers.

Además del calendario, para la ocasión se ha publicado un libro, titulado "Abriendo camino", que recoge las palabras del teniente general Agustín Quesada, quien narra los más importantes hitos históricos del Arma durante sus tres siglos de existencia, y que se acompañan con las ilustraciones that the artist has created for each month of the year.
Paco Santana, born in Picassent (Valencia) in 1956, has a degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
